The World Youth Day mass is on Sunday 27 January and will begin at 5pm.

World Youth Day Festival mass is open to the public. Gates at Sacred Heart College will open at 4:00pm for mass at 5:00pm. Those attending the mass are asked to enter through the main gates of the school on Whyte Street.

Those who come for mass will not be charged an entrance fee.

The World Youth Day mass is not only an opportunity to celebrate World Youth Day with young people, but it will also be the official Archdiocesan close to the Year of Youth. This will be a very special liturgy for the community. The celebrant for the mass is Fr. Philip Marshall.

The Mass will take place on the Walter Park Lawn (outside next to the chapel). People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to sit on. Seating will not be provided.

Those who come for the liturgy are welcome to stay for dinner (food is available for purchase from a variety of food trucks), and if they wish to stay for the concert, they will need to purchase a ticket at the registration desk at the main gates of Sacred Heart College.

Parking is limited to street parking around the school. It may be necessary for individuals to walk a short distance to the school.
