RE: “JESUITICAL” (USA) TO APPEAR AT WORLD YOUTH DAY FESTIVAL IN ADELAIDE
The Catholic Office for Youth and Young Adults (COYYA) is excited to announce that “Jesuitical” (USA) will be exclusively in Adelaide for the upcoming World Youth Day (WYD) 2019 local celebrations on January 27.
Jesuitical is a podcast produced and distributed by America Media which is hosted by three ‘young, hip and lay editors’; Ashley McKinless, Olga Segura and Zac Davis. Each episode brings together some of the top (and maybe more obscure) Catholic news of the week and an interview with a guest who offers a unique perspective on world events, culture or faith.
WYD Adelaide 2019 will see Jesuitical in Australia for the very first time and participating exclusively in events related to WYD Adelaide. In the week leading up to WYD, Jesuitical will be taking part in a Young Adult pilgrimage day, and hosting an evening speaking event as well as mentoring session with Arch D Radio students.
At the WYD 2019 festival on Sunday January 27, they will be recording a live podcast and also delivering a workshop on Young Catholics in the Media.
Details about these appearances will become available on the festival website (below).
WYD Adelaide 2019 is a unique one-off opportunity to catch all three members of Jesuitical in Australia, on stage and in person!
WYD Adelaide will be the largest gathering of Catholic Youth in Adelaide since the Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) in 2015. The festival will feature over 35 musical acts and speakers, two live music stages, workshops, speaker panels, food trucks, amusements, and a youth led mass. Guests already announced include The Genevieve Bryant Band (Melbourne) and Sacred Stone, with many more to be announced over the coming weeks. Organise your tickets and group bookings at the link below now!
WYD 2019 Adelaide will be held at Sacred Heart College, Somerton Park, on Sunday 27 January 2019.
