Julian Nguyen
Julian joined the COYYA team as the coordinator in 2022 after 8 years as a social worker in juvenile justice and child protection. He is a committed member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community in SA where he has been involved in youth ministry for over 15 years.
Michaela Howard-Jones
Michaela joined COYYA in the beginning of 2024 as a Diocesan Youth Ministry Support Officer, after spending 3 years with Arch D Radio & Podcasting as an assistant producer and podcasting instructor. In her time with Arch D, Michaela could be seen hosting their bi‑weekly radio show on Life FM and primarily working with primary classes.
Sylvia Nguyen
Sylvia became part of the COYYA team at the end of 2024 as a Diocesan Youth Ministry Support Officer, after finishing her studies in Primary Education, majoring in Catholic Studies. She is a member of the Croydon Park Parish, where she spends her time helping as a Children’s Liturgy Leader.
